Frequently Asked Questions

Do you belong to a denomination?

We are part of a nationwide network of churches called Converge. At it’s core, it’s a church planting movement that helps those who are called by God start churches and reach their cities for Jesus. You can read more about what God is doing through Converge at Converge.org

Do kids stay in service or have kid's church?

This changes from season to season, but right now we LOVE having our elementary kids in the worship center for worship. Then, they are dismissed to go to their classrooms and enjoy teaching that is specifically geared for them.  Please check your kid in BEFORE bringing them into the sanctuary.

What are you thoughts on tongues, women in ministry or other beliefs that split the church?

We preach the Bible. Sometimes it says things that we don’t like to hear. Jesus said things the disciples didn’t like to hear as well! “On hearing it, many of his disciples said, ‘This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?'” (John 6:60)We don’t start with a theological bent and then pick verses that agree with it!  We preach it all. It’s not uncommon for us to pick a book of the Bible and preach through the whole thing one passage at a time. It is always challenging, but always good!
